BlueWebCam: Bluetooth Web Camera

A set of programms for a j2me-enabled devices und common PCs, which let you instantly transmit images from camera via Bluetooth. Install the programm on your cameraphone to let your friends see what you are doing with the help of another phone or a PC with Bluetooth dongle.

You can use a j2me-enabled device with a camera as a server (the device must support jsr-82 and video capturing from java), or a common PC with a camera and Bluetooth dongle.
As a client you can use a j2me-enabled device supporting jsr-82, or a common PC with a Bluetooth dongle.

Download and install the midlet to your j2me-enabled device. The midlet works in two modes: client - you can watch another BlueWebCam or server - you can share camera images from you phone. Note that you have to switch the Bluetooth on before starting the midlet.

To watch or send images from a PC you need to install the PC version of the programm, which can work also in two modes...

The pre-alfa version is now being tested and it is not published yet. This webpage was made to find out how interesting this topic is, in view of the fact that analogous software Mobile WebCam is quite successful.
